Is the invoice generator free?
Yes. Building an invoice and downloading the PDF is free and needs no registration. A free invoice carries a small erekini.eu credit in the footer, which the Plus plan (€4/month) removes.
How do I issue an invoice without VAT?
If you are not VAT registered, leave the VAT number field empty. Every line is then charged at 0% VAT, and the invoice automatically carries the note “Pārdevējs nav PVN maksātājs” (the supplier is not VAT registered).
What has to be on a correct invoice in Latvia?
The document title (“Rēķins”), a number, the date, the supplier's and the customer's details, a description of each line with quantity and price, the VAT rate and amount, and the total. The generator asks for these fields automatically.
Do I have to register to download an invoice?
No. You can download the PDF straight away. An account is only needed if you want to save your details and your customers so the next invoice takes 10 seconds.
